Sure, Furls hooks are the best crochet hooks for healthy hands, but what else are they good for? They're so pretty, I decided to check my vinyl record stash to see if I could match them up with my Furls collections. Here's what I came up with:
Weezer, Blue Album -- Aquarius Streamline Zodiac
Jimmy Buffett, Changes in Lattitudes Changes in Attitudes -- Silver Oak Streamline Wood
Seu Jorge, The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions -- Leo Streamline Zodiac
Orville Peck, Show Pony - Taurus Streamline Zodiac
Hair Soundtrack - Pride Streamline
The White Stripes, The Detroit Institute of Arts - Aries Streamline Zodiac
Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack - Moonlight Streamline
The Muppet Movie Soundtrack - Cancer Streamline Zodiac
Led Zeppelin II - Laurel Streamline Wood
The Dead South, Chains & Stakes - Onyx Streamline Metal
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Jupiter Streamline Galaxy
David Bowie, David Live -- Pisces Streamline Zodiac
Jimi Hendrix, Roots of Hendrix -- Taurus Streamline Zodiac
Sons of The Pioneers, Cool Water -- Leo Streamline Zodiac
How the West Was Won Soundtrack -- Laurel Streamline Wood

After I took these pictures, my son wanted to get in on the action, so he brought out his vinyl record collection. We expanded the selection to multiple hooks per album (plus some yarn) to try to capture the vibe of each album cover. Here's what we came up with:
Pearl Jam, Ten:
Black Sabbath:
Metallica, Master of Puppets (for this one, my youngest son wanted to add yarn to mimic the puppet strings on the album):
A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders:
MF Doom, Madvillain:
Alice in Chains, Facelift:
Thank You Scientist, Stranger Heads Prevail:
Coheed and Cambria, No World For Tomorrow:
What do you think? I think I need to expand my Furls collection with a few more colors and styles so I can do an even better job next time!
